Burglar-resistant door flush with the edging trims

Estense is a security door from the Gold line whose main characteristic is its robustness. The front door has a double sheet armoured panel and is certified in burglar-resistance class 4, in accordance with European standard UNI EN 1627-1628-1629-1630. The door has a minimum thermal transmittance value of 1.4 w/m²k and is in a position to ensure noise reduction up to 45 db if it is also fitted with a threshold on the ground. The front door can be customised using the wide range of finishes in lacquered, wood and protected lacquered. The inner panel and the 12 mm thick edging trims are perfectly flush fitting and envisage a rapid attachment system using fixing clips. The Estense security door has a standard opening space of 2100 mm in height by a width of 900 mm. However, its size can be customised and you can also choose between a single door or a double door.

Frame and hinges

The clean-cut silhouette of the leaf profile is achieved by eradicating the fixing screws. The fixed frame can be painted in a variety of colours that can be customisable to suit the customer’s taste. The structure has a continuous bolt against attempted break-ins. The front door is fitted with three concealed hinges, factory fitted to have a 5 mm clearance between the frame and the door, which can be painted the same colour as the frame and leaf profile.

Lock and accessories

The door is supplied with an internal handle, peephole, external handle or grab bar and, where envisaged, the aperture limiter control. As a rule, the cylinder is already fitted in the lock and envisages an installer key and five user keys. Mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical locks are available for this type of door. The Estense security door can be fitted with a lock and bolt and rectangular striker plates. The front door comes with an adjustable draught bar, which allows the sealing strip to rest against the floor.

7 Electro-galvanised sheet metal pressure bent, th. 10/10 which creates an enveloping protection over all the closing mechanisms of the swing door (lock and side bolts) along the full height of the door. This construction technology enables the overlapping of the metal sheets along the area featuring the closing systems (lock and side bolts). Specifically, the overall thickness before the lock is 4 mm, two of which are in manganese steel, whereas it is 2 mm along the perimeter. Aesthetically, this construction method means there are no invasive elements on show when the door is open, such as rivets, screws and bolts.
8 8 (eight) square-section horizontal reinforcement bars distributed appropriately along the height of the door.
