The investment belongs to a broader intervention plan, launched in 2017, aimed at reorganising processes in order to reduce the manufacturing cycle time and triple the production capacity. The installation took place at the end of August at the Scrigno2 plant in Savignano sul Rubicone. It will allow the automation of the production process steps through <strong>robotic, digital and interconnected solutions<\/strong>, from a 4.0 perspective, thus effectively reducing <em>lead time<\/em>.<\/p><p>The new packaging plant covers an area of 2,500 m<sup>2<\/sup> and is directly controlled by the MES (<em>Manufacturing Execution System<\/em>) which monitors the entire production cycle in real time.
