D. How much space does it take to install a Scrigno Gold Base single door counter frame?

To determine the overall dimensions of the Base single door counter frame, the following simple formulas must be applied;
width dimension= L (opening width) x 2 +110mm
height dimension=H (opening height) +100mm
e.g., to have an opening width of 800x2100mm, a space of 1710x2200mm is needed

D. How much space does it take to install a Scrigno Gold Base double door counter frame?

To determine the overall dimensions of the Base double door counter frame, the following simple formulas must be applied;

D. Do you make counter frames with different height measurements than the standard ones?

The size range of Scrigno counter frames includes heights from 800mm up to 2700mm in the plaster version and up to 2400mm in the plasterboard version.

D. What is the difference between the Scrigno Gold Base counter frame and the Scrigno Gold Essential counter frame?

In the Scrigno Gold Base counter frame, in addition to the door panel, there are the doorposts and edging trims too. In the Scrigno Gold Essential counter frame, the doorpost and edging trims have been eliminated by adopting aluminium profiles on which plaster or plasterboard is directly applied, blending with the wall: simply painting the profiles the same as the wall completes the final result.

D. How should the aluminium profiles of the Essential counter frame be finished?

All bare aluminium profiles should be painted, applying a primer coat and completing with simple wall paint.

Scrigno counter frames in the plasterboard version with finished wall thicknesses of 100mm, 125mm are suitable for interior partition walls formed by structures with 75 and 100mm profiles, respectively

D. Can two single door counter frames be used to make a double door counter frame?

No, it is always advisable to use the counter frame in the specific double door version.

D. What precautions are essential for perfect installation of the sliding counter frame?

It is good practice to follow the instructions attached to the product; in particular, it is advisable to check the alignment, plumb and plane of the counter frame with respect to the supporting surface carefully. In masonry versions, the plastering should be done in two stages: in the first phase, reinforce the side of the case with cement mortar (minimum 20 percent cement) until it covers the wire mesh (about 1 cm); in the second, wait until the plastering has cured (minimum three weeks), even out the plaster to flush with the counter frame. Proceed with the finish rendering. The above steps must be done with the cover trim mounted to the case. All structures should always be architraved. In addition, in the case of the plasterboard versions, it is advisable to anchor the counter frame along the entire perimeter to the load-bearing structure of the wall, and the exclusive use of the screws supplied with the counter frame for attaching the plasterboard slab to it.

D. When can the door panel be installed?

In plaster version counter frames, it is advisable to wait for the plaster to cure, about 29- 30 days

D. Should the counter frame be architraved?

All structures should always be architraved.

D. Does Scrigno also make flush-fitting swing doors?

Yes, the Essential line includes Flush-fitting Swing doors, in the Pusj, Pull versions both to the Left and Right, in both Standard and Non-Standard opening widths.

D. How much space is needed to install the Essential Flush-Fitting Swing Plaster 105 and Plasterboard 100 single door frame?

D. Can the Base model counter frame be transformed into the Essential model counter frame?

No, they are two structurally different counter frames.

D. The finishing upright fixing screws for Essential sliding seem too short, why is that?

In order for the screws to be the correct length, the finishing upright must be inserted into the structure upright and not mounted in the sit-on mode.

D. How can I remedy the issue of having mislaid the assembly instructions?
