Counter frame for opposing sliding doors
Gold Base Doppio is the counter frame which, thanks to its large-size opening, grants the seamless connection between adjacent indoor settings. Th structure consists of two opposing cases, located to the left and right of the opening, which conceal two doors that slide in opposite directions. The Gold Base line envisages the assembly of doors with doorposts and edging trims. The counter frame is designed for both masonry and plasterboard walls. The width of the opening width varies from 1200 to 2400 mm. The height is customisable and can reach up to 2700 mm in the plasterboard version and up to 3000 mm in the plaster version. What’s more, both wooden and glass doors can be installed on Scrigno Gold Base Doppio. The wooden doors can be lacquered, veneered or have a laminate finish. Transparent doors can be in tempered glass in the glass-aluminium version or the polished flush edge pane. The simultaneous opening kit for the sliding doors can be installed upon request only in the case of wooden doors.
Case
Gold Base Doppio consists of two opposing cases. The structure is made of Aluzinc (aluminium, zinc and silicon), which is a highly corrosion-resistant material. The side members are modular, with vertical corrugations. In the version for plasterboard, Scrigno Gold Base is made with a full case to allow easy installation inside the wall, as well as featuring horizontal reinforcements devised to make the structure more rigid. In the version for plaster, the structure is complete with a galvanised arc-welded plastering mesh for greater grip of the mortar. The front cover trim is fitted with storage pockets to house the alignment spacers that hook onto both opposing cases to keep the counter frame aligned.
Track crosspiece
Consisting of two extruded aluminium profiles, anodised and shaped to ensure the perfect alignment of the hangers. The profiles are joined together via a connecting bracket and attached to the upper base of the two cases. PVC side spacers ensure the doorpost is anchored properly and the plaster fully even.
Hanger
The hanger kit contains the accessories to assemble the sliding doors. There are four hangers, fitted with four wheels each, covered in nylon and with sealed ball bearings. The suspension brackets are in galvanised sheet metal, shaped for the insertion of the door panel in the sliding system. The kit also includes the nylon end stop, the door panel guide cylinder rod and related screws.
