Counter frame for reduced height sliding doors
The variable and customisable height is the distinguishing feature of Scrigno’s Vario counter frame for sliding doors. It is the right solution to grant access to technical and service amenities such as attics, lofts, box rooms, basements and garages. Vario is designed to be fitted on both masonry and plasterboard indoor partition walls. The overall thickness of the finished wall is 90/105/125/145 mm for brick walls and 100/125 mm for plasterboard structures. It is available either the single or double door version. The size of the opening width varies from 600 mm to 1200 mm in width. The height, on the other hand, can be customised to the nearest centimetre from 1200 mm to 2090 mm.
Case
The structure is made of Aluzinc (aluminium, zinc and silicon), which is a corrosion-resistant material. The structure for indoor walls in masonry is fitted with a galvanised arc-welded plastering mesh placed on the side members and secured by specific metal staples. The case for plasterboard features horizontal reinforcements to ensure the structure is more rigid. The upper base is designed for the attachment of the track crosspiece, while the lower base is designed for the floor mounting of the case as well as to mount the door panel guide cylinder rod. The clamps are fitted to the rear of the case to help anchoring with masonry. The front cover trim is fitted with storage pocket to house the alignment spacers . The fine fibre glass plastering mesh is supplied for positioning between the metal structure and the brick.
Track crosspiece
There are one or two tracks depending on the single or double version. The connecting bracket ensures attachment of the crosspieces. The structure is in extruded anodised aluminium and shaped to ensure the perfect alignment of the hangers. In addition, PVC side spacers mark the thickness of the finished wall.
Hanger
The hanger kit includes a pair of hangers with four nylon-coated wheels and ball bearings with a carrying capacity of 120 kg per door.
