Acustica with jambs

Acoustic solution with jambs, designed to isolate any space from noise sources, ensures sound insulation performance of up to 39 dB, as confirmed by tests carried out on plasterboard walls with a finished thickness of 125 mm (double board).

The system consists of Maestro counterframe, cover trim kit, acoustic jamb and door leaf, dedicated hardware and Chiudiscrigno handle kit.

The system uses a technology that seals the door perimeter thanks to the presence of draught excluders on the lower and upper part of the panel. Tightness is ensured by the presence of gaskets and magnets, which contribute to the correct door closure.

The kit is available in standard sizes.

The sound insulation performance of the acoustic solution with jambs is achieved by combining: counterframe, acoustic jamb, acoustic hardware kit, acoustic door, cover trim kit and Chiudiscrigno handle.

The reference counterframe is Maestro single-leaf for 125 mm plasterboard wall.

The system uses a technology that allows the complete sealing of the door perimeter.

Draught excluders are provided on the lower and upper part of the panel; vertically, sealing is achieved through front gaskets, and on the rear side through a gasket and rebate.

To ensure the correct operating pressure of the gaskets, magnets are supplied, contributing to door closure and keeping it firmly adherent to the jamb.

The product has been tested in accordance with UNI EN ISO 10140-2:2010 and UNI EN ISO 717-1:2013, which regulate respectively the laboratory measurement and evaluation of airborne sound insulation of buildings and building elements.

The test was carried out on a 125 mm plasterboard wall with double board, 75 mm plasterboard structure with rock wool insulation, achieving an overall sound insulation performance of:

• Rw = 39 dB (-1;-4) for 125 mm wall thickness
• Rw = 32 dB (-1;-2) for 125 mm wall thickness

43 mm thick door panel for finished wall thickness of 125 mm, made with a perimeter wooden frame and sound-insulating material (for the 39 dB version), featuring multiple layers and faced with 4 mm MDF.
