with the acquisition of two strategic manufacturing businesses
Scrigno continues its expansion and diversification with the acquisition of Ecomet, a company specialising in the production of thermal-acoustic insulation panels and door and window security fixtures, and of FBP Porte, a leader in the production of top-quality interior doors. Two transactions marking a key milestone in the Group’s development and expansion of its offering, enabling Scrigno to meet architects’ needs, from the building envelope through to interior finishes.
Established in 1982, Ecomet is now a leader in Italy for contemporary building products. With a manufacturing site of over 30,000 m² in Marsciano (Perugia, Italy), the company offers a range of high-performance technical solutions developed from a comprehensive analysis of market requirements for thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as security. This market awareness, combined with design expertise and investments in R&D, has given rise to three product lines – Salvaclima, Meta and Eco – together with a selection of environmentally sustainable materials and advanced production processes, with a strong focus on waste reduction and recycling of raw materials.
