The staircase as a new language of space
With Kyma, Elisa Ossino envisions a new concept of the staircase: no longer a simple passage between levels, but an architectural trajectory that connects matter and space, light and function.
Part of the Olympia Collection, Scrigno’s tailor-made staircases, Kyma is an exercise in balance and vision, designed to dissolve weight and let the pure rhythm of movement emerge.
The staircase thus becomes a suspended sign, a silent yet distinctive presence, conceived to harmoniously integrate with the architecture while also guiding its narrative. Each step is a visual pause, a geometric sequence that dialogues with the surrounding environment.

Structural lightness, design intensity
Kyma is a cantilevered staircase anchored to the wall with absolute precision, designed to create a visual perception of total suspension.
The riser and tread meet with formal rigor, defining a fluid and continuous rhythm that structures the space without breaking it.
The load-bearing glass railing enhances the sense of lightness, creating transparencies that interact with light and convey the idea of movement emerging from the architecture itself.
A staircase for those who seek essence
Kyma is dedicated to those who see architecture as a form of storytelling, and every detail as an act of connection. To those who seek surfaces that not only accompany daily life, but elevate it, transform it, and define it.
Olympia: the custom staircase collection that redefines vertical movement
The Olympia collection, of which Kyma is a part, was created with the intention of transforming vertical movement into an experience.
Olympia is more than a collection: it is the manifesto of a new design approach that places the staircase at the center of a system of spatial, visual, and narrative relationships. From this vision comes Scrigno’s new tailor-made service, designed to offer architects and interior designers dedicated support in creating custom staircases.
Each staircase in the Olympia collection is developed as a unique project, carefully calibrated to the architectural, functional, and aesthetic needs of its context. The Scrigno team works in close synergy with architecture studios and designers to translate an idea into a coherent, integrated, and perfectly executable architectural gesture.
From the choice of materials to the definition of proportions, from construction technology to the relationship with light, everything is conceived to shape a custom vertical language, where the staircase becomes a foundational element of the spatial narrative. A service that reflects Scrigno’s evolution from a manufacturer of opening systems to a design partner in the world of interior architecture.
